Catoctin Fish & Game
Protective Association
Our club is dedicated to environmental conservation, wildlife conservation, as well as the continuing education of fishing, and hunting. We are a small but diverse group of people, interested in all types of outdoor activities. Our members provide classes for the general public in hunter safety, firearms training for women, fly fishing, fly tying, and building fishing rods. We have a yearly fishing rodeo for youngsters that is open to the public. Our club also provides members a safe environment for archery, rifle, pistol, and trap shooting. Guests may shoot on the rifle/pistol range only when sponsored and escorted by a club member in good standing. Weekly trap shoots are open to the public. Our members are involved in conservation projects in Frederick, and Washington counties. Many of our members support national conservation organizations. Our club also supports various community educational, and recreational projects.
